Meerkat Leap

My name is Emmet Mörk and this is my contribution to 2021 Grad in Game's Rising Star.

It is a animation set created for the Meerkat rig included in Unreal Engine 4.26's Meerkat Demo, created by Weta Digital.

It features a set of animations for the meerkat to jump to a ledge.

- Idle: The meerkat standing still, breathing, along with a variant where something catches her attention and she takes a look around, concerned, but quickly dismisses it.

-Powering up: She is aiming at a ledge above her ready to make her jump and she tries to, but aren't quiet sure yet.

-Release: Lift off! She finally makes the leap and hits the ledge with her forepaws, scraping to get purchase with her hind legs.

-Recovery: She pulls herself up the ledge and settles back into an idle, a bounce in her step, happy to have made it.

This is the most advanced animation I've created so far and I am pleased with my progress. I still need to work on final polishing and familiarize myself with concidering the whole flow of motion of a nimble quadroped and all the followthrough.
